The schedule allows to identify the aircraft locations and their availability for air charter in the future. These data are necessary for the correct automatic calculation of the flight itinerary and the quote for the air charters. Flight parameters of the automatically route planning are calculated in accordance the schedule data in the time of this flight period.
If the aircraft has any activity in the schedule, excluding the activity type “Option”, it is not displayed in the search results if the requested date and time are the same as the schedule activity date and time wholly or partially.
You may add and edit your own activity types in the schedule. The activity types that set on default will not be subject to editing.
All activity types created by user will exclude the aircraft from the search results, if the requested date and time of the flight are the same as the schedule activity date and time wholly or partially.
Initially the location of each aircraft is at the home base. To set an activity click the left mouse button on free time period that is marked as a blue line with the airport code where the aircraft is located. You may select the «normal form filling” or the “fast form filling” from the pull down menu. The fast form filling is not designed for creating the activity with more than one leg and with the free time periods.
If you need to create several legs in the activity with the different times of the flights, you should take the normal form filling.
All time periods of a single activity are grouped in a “Flight”. You may see all grouped flights in the section “Flights”.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Each activity must start at the same airport (or coordinates for helicopters) where the previous activity ends. Each leg in the activity must start at the same airport (or coordinates for helicopters) where the previous leg in this activity ends. If you need to create a new activity between the already existing activities it should be created in such a way that the new activity must start at the airport (or coordinates for helicopters) where the previous activity ends and the end of the new activity must be at the same airport (or coordinates for helicopters) where the next activity starts.
Any flight may be edited through the changes in the schedule. To edit the flight you have to click on the activity in the schedule, to select “Edit” in the pull down menu and to modify this activity.
It is possible to select viewing the schedule according to UTC, or to the local time in each airport. Pay attention to the next features of dates and times indication when the time displaying mode is set as “Current local time in airports / heliports”. See the illustration below.
Routes for helicopters cannot be created. Helicopter schedule is intended to change the helicopter availability for air charters and to plane the helicopter flight hours by the air operator. The helicopter location always displays at the home base. If your helicopter is planned for flights far from the home base for a long time just edit its home base in the aircraft specifications. The actual helicopter location will be changed and all users will see new location of your helicopter.
